Nippon Art Maki-e Fountain Pens

Pilot Art and Craft, and Namiki Nippon Art series maki-e pens are Namiki entry-level maki-e pens. When it was first launched, Pilot Namiki only manufactured fountain pens. However, Namiki started to offer rollerball in 2019 for selected designs. There are two Nippon Art maki-e pen ranges. One in resin another in brass materials. Pilot and Namiki have two separate ranges of design. The resin uses 14K number 5 gold nib, whereas the higher end uses the 14K number 10 gold nib.

In Jan 2024, Pilot end the production for these range. On the same year, in Oct, Namiki end the production for the Nippon Art series.
